The audition sessions in Jacksonville were, for the most part, not particularly exciting. Less than 20 contestants made it to Hollywood this time, that's 20 on thousands who tried out.
One of those that you should remember is certainly AnnMarie Boskovitch from Nashville Tennessee. As soon as she sung a few notes for a Kara DioGuardi song everybody knows that she will be going to Hollywood, especially after seeing all the not-so-great previous auditioners. Some have labeled her the first contender for this year.
Other successful contestants include T.K. Hash, Jasmine Murray and George Ramirez. The Jacksonville episode also included a flashback on Randy Jackson's career. They showed him playing with the rock band Journey.
Below are photos of Randy in the 80's with his band Journey.

The most popular reality show on If you're a fan of the show it's a good thing to watch those auditions especially if your favorite contestant from the top 12 is shown auditioning. It's always good to have memories of how the audition went, what the judges thought of him/her at the time and so on.
Let's hope that American idol will put on a more entertaining show tonight.
American Idol is surely the most popular show on Fox even better, it's the most popular show on American Television. It's really a big deal.
